Once in a Blue Moon

By the light of the silvery moon, Phil caught good sized bream on his new rod. Pete and Dad gave lots of advice and assistance as Phil in his enthusiasm tied on the hook and sinker before threading the line through among other novice mistakes. It has been over 17 years since he'd been fishing so there was lots to re-learn amidst laughter and much ribbing from Pete and Dad. We look forward to some quiet afternoons catching fish and enjoying the 'serenity'. No we are not dreaming!

Another first was Phil going surfing with Pete early on a couple of mornings. Upon return, Phil was asked what it was like to catch a wave. Dunno, he replied, I just spent all the time paddling out and being swept back in. His shoulders muscles are rather sore but he loved the challenge.
I have no photo of this epic scene, cause it was too early for the 'photographer' to be out of bed.!!!! :)I think Pete has plans to return and give Phil a few more lessons. I'll get some shots next time, promise.
The time with family was very special indeed with lots of games, drives, walks, talks and of course food.
Madalyn and Eryn entertained us with their dancing, singing and their lively humour and conversations.

We saw whales, dolphins, eagles, koalas all in the wild and all in a span of a couple of days. The Camden Haven area is a beautiful area of river systems, magnificent coastline, mountains, forests and wildlife. Plenty to see and enjoy so each day was full and fun.

Tom's Creek Road was a hit, quite an experience and I'm sure we'll traverse it with many visitors to the area.
The Macadamia Farm and Coffee Shop was also a hit with quite a few delights to choose from. OK, we couldn't choose, so tried the lot.
Hopefully they will return to explore more of this beautiful area, catch some fish and enjoy our company. We love having friends and family come to stay.
So don't wait for a 'blue moon', plan a visit soon.
