Time in Tassie Part 1

Phil and I spent the day together in Sydney prior to me heading down to Tassie for a week and Phil heading down to Canberra for a few days. We wandered around Brighton Le Sands before heading down to Cronulla. We found a place with a great view of the ocean and enjoyed sunshine and good food.

My first evening in Tasmania was spent with Allan and Elsie Dyer and we enjoyed talking together about Tasmanian history and sharing about life and the Lord. Their house was warm and cosy in stark contrast to the snow covered mountains all around us.
The view of Mount Roland from their dining room window was inspiring. Apparently it was a glorious pink earlier in the morning while I was snoozing and Elsie was reading her bible.

Wrapping up the mentor training course was a privilege. We celebrated, shared, laughed and prayed together, thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to re-connect one last time as a learning community. I have learned so much from Tim who I co-led the course with and from all the participants who I hold in high regard.
