We had a great week with Jason, Craig and Alyce who came for a visit. Phil must have enjoyed it because his blood pressure is slowly coming down and I think the two games of golf, frisbee on the beach and lots of laughter did help.
Me, I juggled ministry in the midst of the visit, though did take time out to enjoy some special moments with them.

Phil is in Sydney this week for NTM Board Meetings and will be returning tomorrow.
I've been enjoying running mentor training courses and other workshops. The group I've been working with this year are almost finished, one final session and then graduation in September. It has been a lot of fun and hopefully they have enjoyed learning how to be effective mentors.
I'm busy this next few weeks on a range of projects and preparations for more workshops, facilitating some forums, helping out in Missionary Training, mentoring two couples and a few ladies plus speaking at a Missions Conference in Canberra in September.

I guess I just enjoy teaching and encouraging people as they explore life in God and what it can look like for them. I do get tired a lot lately though, must be old age creeping up on me. :) Can't admit to that though, so I'll put it down to staying up too late to watch the Olympics.
Ozzie, Ozzie Ozzie and all that. Love to see the medal tally going up for Australia. We do very well for such a small nation. Makes me proud, then makes me feel lazy and slack for not being fit enough.
So off for a walk tonight and whale spotting. Saw a beautiful eagle soaring above also. All is right with the world. Oh, and I did see a few massive whale splashes too. Makes me smile.
