You may well wonder where I've been!! Or not!!!?It's taken me this long to recover from turning 50.
How do you live life knowing you qualify for senior cards? Which reminds me, must look in to those. Might as well turn all this ageing to advantage.
Enough of my groaning about the aches and pains, oh that's right I haven't started on that yet have I?
Well a first occured and yes, I can give you details.
Phil and the boys despite some blunders, actually managed to surprise me. Yes, more than normal, if you know what I mean.
Phil had arranged for Scott to fly up from Tassie and spend a couple of days with us.
What a treat, the whole family together.
He even tried to have our little granddaughter fly up but she's just that bit too young yet. Maybe one day that will be a possibility. Wow.
I've included some shots of the time up there and as you can see the boys had some adventures.
Firstly on a thundercat, thanks to a good mate of ours Craig Findlay whose back is still bent out of shape after all the jolts and jarring. I chickened out big time. OK, I know a tough ol' bird like me. Hard to imagine.
For my birthday we went to Wet and Wild for the day. Loads of fun. I took photos.
Then out to dinner at a lovely Vietnamese restaurant on Southbank in Brisbane with my boys, Phil and friends.
We travelled home via a visit with Barbie Dyer who is living on the Gold Coast in a lovely unit right near a golf course which rather appealed to Phil. Since being back we've both been head down, tail up, busy with our work here at NTM. I'd like to think it keeps us out of mischief, but you all know us and so I can't really get away with that.
Suffice to say, we are learning lots about life, about what really matters to us and what freedom we have at this season of our lives to choose, really choose how to live life to the full every day.
