Open Day at Jungle Camp

Jungle Camp is an opportunity to learn new skills to equip people to live in remote areas with limited access to technology and resources we take for granted in our daily lives.

The kids learn to get along, playing, learning and growing close as friends.
Ben and family visit to catch up with missed playmates.
Simple pleasures fill the days.
Older ones looking after the younger ones.

Designing cooking facilities using limited resources. Great cooks enjoy the challenge and there were some amazing meals provided over the fires each night.

Working together as couples is part of the fun.
Here's a pair who have enjoyed the time.
Now what's this foreign object? Something to play with perhaps?

We'll call him Camp Grandpa.
Comfy chairs built near camp fires, great for relaxing in and enjoying a quiet cuppa at the end of the day.
Ready for home, a shower, flushing loo, fresh milk, and a washing machine and some fresh food.

We look forward to having everyone back on site. It's been a quiet month without the Missionary Training staff and students around.
